Drawing inspiration from the traditional English orchard gathering-basket, these multifunctional log baskets, perfectly suited to firewood, blankets, or toys are constructed from a discrete side of oak bark tanned bridle leather. Using these large panels reveals and represents the true character and beauty of the material. This is cut, dyed, polished, riveted, and laced by hand around a solid ash timber base, which offers support for the heavy weight of logs and kindling. The nature of the materials means that no two are the same, each offering a unique canvas that will patina beautifully over time.
