Five nickel-lined openings suspended in glossy black resin are set discreetly behind the shell’s lip, while its deep mouth keeps ashes contained and out of sight.

• One pyrographed, lacquered bamboo match holder with an underside striker, stocked with green strike-anywhere matches—plus one refill.
