Large Limestone Egg Sculpture

Organic, smooth, sculptural, symbolic. This weighty Egg serves as an ornament for your shelf or coffee table, or functional as a door stop.

The solid limestone Egg is hand-made in Ōamaru, New Zealand. Imperfections and signs of its hand-made nature are welcomed and to be expected. The limestone Egg produces no waste. Any limestone that is a byproduct of the making of this Egg is then ground up and sold to the New Zealand agricultural industry.  

Fourth St is a New Zealand based home goods label. Fourth St believes that we can be elevated by the objects we use and surround ourselves with. The interaction between different materials, especially the smooth and the sophisticated with those that are rougher around the edges is a particular focus.
